The first beer can in the US was made and sold out of Newark.
Krueger Beer.
Up until that point in the 30s beer was sold in keg barrels or bottles.

Pretty cool, eh?

I realized last night I know nothing about mixed drinks. I never know what to order. Always feel like an ass...then I just get beer

If I get a mixed drink at a bar, it's usually Vodka & Ginger Ale. Tastes very nice and goes down easy, which is all you can ask for in a social situation.

You can't go wrong with a Jack and Ginger. I also like Jameson and Dr Pepper, but nobody ever has Dr Pepper at bars.

So Houlihans has jumped on the Margarita with a damn Corona sitting in it train. I didn't have many, and I was pretty sober afterward, but I still feel like a small truck hit me.

I had Colt 45 for the first time in a long time on Friday night. Not since college, and I remembered why once I started drinking it.

I tried the Victory Hop Devil, and I didn't care for it. I usually love hoppy beers, but this one tasted damn near like gin, which I despise.
