So this girl comes up to me at the bar and says "you have a nice face". She seriously says that exact phrase like three or four times.

We talk ra little bit, then I asked her for her number and she just left the bar. Was very confused.
 
I've started going to trivia with a new team now, after my old regular pub closed down and my other friends lost interest. Came in fourth last night. Promising start.

I miss the days of regularly going to trivia :( Changes to peoples schedules made it tough to go that day of the week. Went a few weeks ago and hopefully making it more regular during the summer, but still not guaranteed. Cherish the opportunity.
 
looming strike at midnight tonight for liquor store employees in ontario. (on the eve of a long weekend too)

at work today i called them 'selfish dicks' only to have a co-worker say that i have a bad attitude and i should be supportive of other peoples plights.

I was rather drunk both last night and the night before. On Friday we were at a brewery open house when they had to evacuate us because of a gas leak. So we just went to bars afterward. Last night I went to a bar where this huge ***** almost came to blows with my friend because he bumped into her accidentally in the crowded bar.

I'm meeting up today with a chick I met Friday night. She was really into me, so this should go well.
 
This needs a bump so badly after today.

So today was our work BBQ, which is basically another way to say get drunk and have a **** show. Lots of Brooklyn Lager (though I hit the bar afterward and got some good old Yueng Ling!!!)

Got lots of drunk advice on how to let my ex go, which I have been pining over like a ***** for a year, go. Whole discussion felt relevant to today' Devil's tragedy. So get drunk and LET LOOSE!!!

Sometimes I get stuck at work late doing mundane things no one should have to do on a Friday night.
And sometimes, the bartender down the block takes pity on me.

Those sometimes I belong here, I guess.

Jesus did you just get out? Least you got some cheap/free drinks out of it?

I can't believe I am still feeling the last effects of this damn hangover. I am trying to remember how much I actually drank last night...and how I survived work today.

Just got back home, but I was there way longer than need be. Pointless tasks that somehow needed to be fulfilled, and I have no control over how long it takes. Stupid.

But I usually get something free/something strong when I go sulking in late at night. It's nice.
