'Never Again' should Nickelback be posted LOL. just kidding. In Canada this band does not get much love. I'm one of them that doesn't show them any love. lol

Why is that?

We have our celebrity objects of ridicule here in the U.S., but it seems Nickelback -- as in, "You get a nickel back," which would be fairly lame, I must say -- really catch it in Canada.

'splain.

My buddies and I have recently playing the following songs...Fun Stuff.

"She Said She Said" (Peter Fonda, harping on what he believed to be a Near Death Experience, annoys a tripping John in an empty LA pool, '66 tour).

One of my all time favorite Beatles' songs from my favorite album. We used to do this one in my high school band.

Tom says" Well, good morning" and Del and The Heartbreakers take it away.

Last Top 40 for Del was this remake.

Tom and Jeff Lynne talk about Del

Was going to join Tom and The Wilbury's after Roy's passing, What could have been.

One of the most prolific rappers of his time, Daniel Dumile inspired generations of rappers and is seen as one of the most innovative in the genre and yet more people know the persona he put on than the man behind the mask. That persona being the supervillain of hip hop, MF DOOM.

Loving this song! New to me and loving it! thanks for sharing.

No problem. That entire album is considered to be MF Doom's magnum opus that he and Madlib created over a span of two years. The album was so important that it grabbed the attention of many non music media outlets like The New Yorker to write columns about it and was one of the first independent Hip Hop scene in America to chart in the Billboard 200, peaking at 179. The vast genres of music it samples from Bollywood movie scores and Brazilian samba, to American Jazz and Soul was also monumentally influential and changed the sound to hip hop to being much more in line with Jazz. It's one of the most experimental albums of the 2000s and changed hip hop forever.

Also @Blowfish, little fun fact about the song Doomsday by MF Doom. The sample used for it came from Kiss of Life by Sade and was intermixed with the song "Poetry", done by KRS One when he was with Boogie Down Productions.

Underrated 90s band: The Wallflowers. I wonder if Jakob's career was hampered more than it was helped by being Bob Dylan's son. It's a lot to live up to as a singer-songwriter. They were huge from like 1997 to 2000 and then just pretty much disappeared off the face of the earth. I'm reading on wikipedia to figure out what happened to them, I guess their album in 2000 that was their follow-up to their most successful album was one of the first major music works to get leaked to the internet through Napster, a month before its release, and it put a dent in sales, then the guitarist ended up leaving the group a little later and they just went smaller in their output, just contributing covers to soundtracks and such.

Excellent songwriter. Not as good as dad, but much better looking.

I liked the first single, "6th Avenue Heartache." Never heard anything else.
