I could not agree more. I legit shed tears at the opening scroll and enjoyed the movie throughout.

I was gonna wait until the crowds died down a bit, but I think it'll be too hard to avoid spoilers until then so I'm gonna bite the bullet and go see it, even by myself if I have to.

Do it before someone ruins it for you. I just went on Reddit after the movie and saw that a number of unrelated subreddits to r/movies and r/StarWars got hit by trolls posting spoilers.

Went to go see Force Awakens with a buddy of mine tonight. Gotta say, even though I'm not a huge fan of the franchise, Abrams does a good job restoring the style and elements that made the original trilogy successful, things that were simply missing in the prequel trilogy. Pretty entertaining and well-paced.

Yup. There is definitely flaws, but it's still great.
Also, this isn't a spoiler, for anyone bummed we don't have enough good, strong, developed female characters, we got one of the best in years.
