I decided to give the show Chicago Fire a shot and it is really good, great even when you consider it is a network drama. The character development is just fantastic and I really enjoy the cast. Jesse Spencer might be better in this than he was in House and it is no wonder why Lauren German got the female lead in Lucifer. I also really like Eamonn Walker in it, it's not an epic role like Kareem Said in Oz but he does a great job as the chief.

I actually started Aquarius last night, I really liked that as well. It has David Duchovny and it's a series about Charles Manson.

I like Duchovny, X-Files was great. When I was young and needed showcase, Red Shoe Diaries was amazing . I have yet to see Californication but I've heard mixed reviews. Then Manson is just so damn fascinating, truly one of the most brilliant evil minds. I will have to check this out.

I need to check out Narcos too, I had it downloaded before I formatted my laptop but I never got around to it because it wasn't something that I could watch at work due to the the violence and subtitles.

It's really good IMO. Duchovny is awesome in the show and the acting overall is quite good IMO. It's a 13 part series and each episode has me more intrigued to watch more.

I'm sold. Downloading now

Looks like season 2 has started for this already and episode 1 (to 3) were done as a 90 minute movie. The 2 episode season finale is to air next Saturday

 Nice! Basically Manson abducts his former lawyers teenage daughter Duchovny (a cop) and his partner start to learn about who he is.

It is factual based, how accurately though I am unsure but nonetheless I've enjoyed the first 4 episodes.

Season 2 ends Saturday, it's good timing to binge watch

Aquarius is a great series, I got hooked earlier this summer when I saw the first season on Netflix. I started to PVR it on TV but it wasn't nearly as good (read: censored on network TV) as it was on Netflix, so when I saw they were simultaneously showing the second season on Netflix, I started the second season over again.

IMO, it is Duchovny's best performance since The X-Files (I am not including the six-episode run from earlier this year).

Yeah that's a series I have to check out. My sister said it was really good.

I gotta say I'm really surprised you enjoyed X-Files  I really liked Californication, but I can see how people may not like the series towards the end. The daughter is seriously annoying, but overall I really enjoyed the storylines and dialogue. The situations Runkle gets himself is are hilarious and if it counts for anything, RZA is in a lot of season 5 haha

I enjoy alot of cop type shows and to be honest, and to be honest I really don't even mind Supernatural.

I think what I liked about X-Files, especially in early seasons is the fact most cases were proven to explainable. But I enjoyed the dynamic between the believer and the non-believer.

Supernatural is one of my guilty pleasures too, especially the monster-of-the-week episodes that I started liking since the X-Files days.

I still greatly enjoy Supernatural. Nowhere near as good as seasons 1-5, but I enjoy it.

Not a big Duchovney fan. I enjoy some early XFiles but didn't really like Aquarius. Just find him very dull.

Just dummied through both seasons of Rick and Morty... what a fantastic weekend..

Now there is this void.

Season 1 episode 1?
 I watched it for a girl since it was her favorite show. I have watched the first 8 or 9 seasons but seasons 1-5 were pretty good actually, after that it got terrible. It's just starting to get good again the last place I watched, but I heard it jumps the shark again
