I’m not willing to go below medium. The women & children still get medium when I’m grilling steaks.

My wife likes her meat burnt to a crisp. I always try to get hers extra well done and mine & the kids' medium rare, but it rarely works out that way. I tend to eat a lot of medium-well steak, sadly.

I’ve come to an agreement with her. If she insists on her steak being well done it gets butterfly cut in half. That’s the only way.

How is it?

I always see it at Costco, but I usually go with some Oban 14 or Lagavulin 16 sitting nearby, but it does always tempt me, as I have enjoyed some other Japanese whiskies in the past.

It's simple, but pretty good. I would say it was worth the price at ~50, but I wouldn't pay a markup for it. I tend to skew toward stronger and more complex flavors, so I definitely wouldn't put it on the level of an Oban 14.

I use that stuff like crazy so that every possible inch is covered, sometimes double. I rarely need to wash my baking treys because nothing touches them.

Lol....it's because I had 2 pans to cover, and I ran out. The 2nd one had onion rings, garlic stick with cheese inside, and chicken taquitos!

And I forgot to take a picture.
