Also need to find Double Bag from Long Trail and Duck Rabbit Barleywine
I typically always had trouble finding duck rabbit stuff here. But I would always get it when I used to make trips to Stateline.

I feel like they are one of the lesser known OGs from the north east. Definitely a gateway beer for me.Long trail..... that’s a name i have not heard in awhile. Their pale was was my go to at Killington’s lodge back when we would rent a house every winter.

No kidding right? That #9 , I think aha, that was apricot flavors. They made some good stuff for back then and the art work was always cool.
Saranac was big for me as well being in upstate ny. I believe they sold out but way back in the day their beer was so good. Their pumpkin beer from back in the day is the best I ever had
I'll be out in Chicago in a few weeks...unfortunately, I don't think they'll be available yetThey finally do a barleywine and it's Chicago only. Son of a.
Have a bunch of company I like coming over the next few weeks. I forgot to get the darker stuff before it hit storage, but these are the IPAs.

Leaving Saturday for Lake Norman! Haven't even looked at the weather lolMight need some recommendations for Charlotte area breweries/brewpubs as my Carowinds trip might have a weather issue or two when there next week.
Kings Dominion area looks great for early week... late week/weekend in Charlotte not so much.

Sycamore is the brewery for Carowinds so I'll get that in parkLeaving Saturday for Lake Norman! Haven't even looked at the weather lol
Obviously you have your go to Charlotte breweries in Sycamore and NoDa. Looks like Olde Mecklenburg is the go to for German beers and Sugar Creek is right down the street.
There's also a Victory/Southern Tier/Sixpoint beer hall down there too
They look like the Tired Hands of CharlotteBurial Beer Co. Won't need to go anywhere else.

That's a great idea for a full day washout. It's about 1 1/2 hours from Carowinds so doable but only if the storms will close the park for the day.Besides the obvious stuff, Fonta Flora makes some damn fine wild ales if that’s up your alley. I haven’t been to the one in Charlotte though. Whippoorwill Farm is beautiful.
They look like the Tired Hands of Charlotte
So, nothing like TH...It's a pretty good way to describe them. Just without all kf the sexual harassment and beer that didn't peak 7 years ago.
Lol.So, nothing like TH...
they used to make a great brown ale that I haven't seen in agesSierra Nevada and Flying Fish were probably my first forays into non-domestics. The Celebration Ale was a staple in my fridge every year.
