You’re gonna need to orient me a bit because I got a ton of fun for this one.

Sourcing of the coffee and vanilla is a win.

I genuinely got raised on Black Sabbath so any beer that is labeled as NIB makes me happy.

I like the drinking instructions. It’ll make it easier for yutes like @Striiker

That’s a lot of alcohol
That is mere details my friend. Don’t let more alcohol get in the way of a good beer.

I tossed a couple chicken breasts in a crock pot with some buffalo sauce then made some mother****ing garlic bread and had myself a good time.

Are you unhappy you burnt the garlic bread?

;)

I went healthy today with a chicken salad topped with chipotle dressing and spicy taco chips.

I like this post.

I also cannot wait to see striikers system handle caffeine and alcohol all at once. Complete system failure.
Thank you. And I like this post.

And even apart from the kid jokes, I'm actually serious. I've literally never had an alcoholic beverage and I think I've had a cup of coffee maybe one time in the last six months.

I didn’t doubt it (no shade whatsoever). And you’re much safer and healthier because of it. Me and @Starat327 could probably learn something here, but damn if I’m smart enough to figure it out.

Eh, that's no life for me
Hahahahaha agreed.

unrelated story but highlights a coping mechanism. Our flight back from Orlando was delayed because of thunderstorm mcasshat, which was previously tropical storm whatever. I discovered that it isn’t that I don’t like scotch, but that I only like dumb expensive scotch. Airport bar had Macallan 18 year so I opted for that. My wife is already a nervous flyer and I needed something to take the edge off the fingernail holes in my arm.

Yeah. Airports do crazy things to people. Were flying out of here at like 6 am, otherwise I'd likely be doing the same, as I in the same situation.

See, the thing is that solo I’m as mellow a traveler as they come. Whatever. Chuck a half day delay to me, I’ll find a book and a bar. Turbulence, meh, enjoy my snores flight cabin. But flying with others makes it a painful process.

For me, alcohol was just a matter of me never really feeling the desire to drink and deciding that if that's the case it's just better not to. I figure there's no real downside and possible health upside, right? I have family and friends who drink, but I've always just said "I'll pass" and nobodies ever cared.

For coffee, it was a much more conscious decision to avoid it because you constantly hear about people saying they NEED their coffee in the morning and how they feel so horrible if they don't have it... and I never want to be so dependent on something like that.

Generally speaking I'm the most easy going traveler you can find. That is, until people start blocking terminals, anyway. I've been in planes that have dead-sticked before and while it freaked me out, I just kinda take flying as a "is what it is" scenario. If we were supposed to be in the air, wed have wings. Once youre up there, theres not much you can do if things go wrong, so why worry?

I have no doubt that several of you people are coffee snobs.

I made a cold brew last night. It's damned fine. It's a higher-end option from Blanchard's out of Richmond, VA. It's 14 bucks for a bag of beans which seems steep, but it's especially great for cold brew. I grind that shit by hand because I'm a jerk.

My Wegmans carries it here in northern Virginia, I have no idea if PA area Wegmans would distribute it as well, but they make good stuff.

In all seriousness, I don't have any of the need for caffeine to get through a day, but the 2 weeks I quit cold turkey were the worst of my life. The headache started the morning of the 2nd day and never went away no matter what I did. Don't start. Ever.
