Had a stopover in New Haven on my way to Amerks-RagsPuke in Hartford. Yes, this is the best pizz... er, tomato pie on Earth.

Someone can explain to me what the hell is the "crushed Italian tomato, then someone else has to explain to me the meaning of putting grated cheese (or pecorino) on top of the mozzarella, which seems to me the best way to completely cancel the flavor of the mozzarella itself. There is no classic Italian pizza on that menu, and the best thing is that you don't read the ingredients of the "Meatball and Ricotta" pizza because it already makes me goose bumps reading the combination!

Eagle rare is one I keep an eye out for but have no luck actually finding it. Weller is another that hits the sweet spot for value.

I just check every once and a while on the website and when I see it’s available, get the big boy bottles of buffalo trace. I don’t feel right mixing even my slightly more expensive bottles for old fashioned’s. At that point I’m as interested in the particular bitters I use over the actual whiskey. Buddy of mine makes his own and always gives me a bottle of them. Most recently, he did a batch of lavender and chamomile which is just great.
Eagle Rare used to be much more common near me but its been harder to find. But where the hell are you finding Weller? I have seen that one time and it was $400 a bottle for the Antique or Special Reserve.

It’s impossible to find. Going on what the state store lists for its price, it’s still super value.

Honestly, with the secondary market being as vicious as it is, probably cheaper to road trip to Kentucky and to stock up.
