Mysterious reappearance of Cara Dune?

Gina Carano Rumored For Surprise Return In The Mandalorian Season 4
Since then, there have been several rumors of her return, but according to a new rumor from YouTuber and Star Wars scooper Mike Zeroh, Jon Favreau himself may have campaigned for her to return to the show with Disney allegedly agreeing to rehire the actress. This would line up with previous rumors that she was in talks to return to The Mandalorian as well.

Zeroh claims that she will return for the fourth season of the show with the announcement potentially happening before the end of the year.
It's worth noting that Disney curiously pushed to have her nominated for an Emmy a few months ago, which supports the rumor that there's been a degree of reconciliation. We'll see. A lot can change in a year, obviously.

You always disparage the site instead of discussing the rumor. You did it...
  • ...when WGTC reported early last year that test screenings of Wonder Woman 1984 called it a messy sequel with a poorly CGI'ed Cheatah... before the movie ended up being a messy sequel with a poorly CGI'ed Cheetah.
  • ...when WGTC reported later last year that T'Challa would not be re-cast... before Feige, the President of Marvel Studios, himself, announced that he would not be re-cast.
  • ...when WGTC reported earlier this Summer that He-Man wasn't the main character of Revelation, that Teela was... before that ended up being the case and Smith, himself, even admitted that it was "Teela's journey."
Those aren't simply the times that a WGTC rumor was right, but the times that you facepalmed them here before those rumors ended up being right. The only time that you've let a mention of them go without saying something was just a few weeks ago in this thread, when I gave you a link to their rumor from February 2020 that young Luke Skywalker might appear in Season 2 of The Mandalorian. Obviously, you recognized that they got it right, but also telling is that you didn't even acknowledge it, even though I quoted you. You just ignored it and me. By that and your repeated disparagement of them in spite of all of the above, it looks like you just have an agenda against them and, stubbornly, can't admit when they've been right. Honestly, I think that you're making yourself look worse than you're making them look, but keep it up if you insist. I don't mind adding to the list.

You're literally like picking the the few time Eklund gets something right, while ignoring all the other times he's wrong.

Also, Teela isn't the main character. She was the main character of the first 5 episodes. Smith even said this. There's still 5 episodes to come. You're just verifying you didn't even watch the 5 episodes.

It isn't a list of the times that they've been right, just the times that you facepalmed them and they ended up being right. It may be less than a handful, but I know that if I were to disparage even a few rumors that ended up being true, I'd feel stupid and second guess how I react to other rumors in the future. Besides, what difference does it make if WGTC is often wrong? The fact that they're sometimes right seems like enough reason to give them some consideration and not be so quick to facepalm them.

You just confirmed the accuracy of the rumor, which was that Teela becomes the lead character after the first episode. Using the technicality that the rumor didn't specify how long she would be the lead character so that you can avoid giving any credit seems rather silly, don't you think?

Not like this would be the first time Disney did an about-face after firing someone after fan backlash. They did it with James Gunn.

No, the rumor, word for word, was "****** dies in the first episode of this show and Teela will then become the lead." "Become" means "come to be." Teela comes to be the lead after the first episode, which you even just admitted happens. That's not employing a technicality. It's just comprehending the rumor. It seems that you either miscomprehended the rumor or are holding onto the belief that it can still be debunked if the lead changes back in the second half (which seems doubtful, anyways, because what series does that?). It appears pretty obvious, though, that the rumor has already ended up being true, for all intents and purposes.

I don't understand why you're so keen on shooting the messenger. WGTC is just a rumor aggregator, a single place to read about rumors that were originally posted elsewhere (on YouTube, Twitter, Reddit and other sites). I'm not sure why you care so much whether a rumor that they pass along ends up being true or why just about any link to them triggers you to show your contempt for the umpteenth time. It appears really petty and just rude to whoever is posting the link.

Anyways, to get back on topic, WTGC's sources were right about Luke turning up in The Mandalorian, so who's to say that Cara won't turn up again, as well? After all, Disney brought James Gunn back, as Shockmaster just pointed out.

I'll get the obligatory "Book of Boba Fett was Mandalorian season 3" joke out of the way right away. I think that was always the plan wasn't it? Boba Fett in late 2021-early 2022, then Mandalorian season 3 in late 2022.
I was thinking the same thing as I finished watching Season 1 of Bobba Fett.

People who skipped Book of Boba Fett gonna be real confused.
I have a feeling that this will become more common, with each show featuring and referencing characters and events from each other. You'll have to watch everything to understand everything, like with Marvel.

Star Wars hasn't been told in chronological order. Which makes me wonder if they'll start off at the end of Mando Season 2, have some episodes without the child, have a mid-season recap, and then have the second half with the kid.

It's the Filoniverse.

Doesn't look like it at all based on the teaser.
