Rarely do smaller guys who suck as bad as he did the first 3 years ever turn into much but given how high he was drafted you'd still say he had this year and next. If he did not show up after 24-25 you assume he's done as a possible top player. In general power forwards take awhile to develop more so
Who is this “smaller guy” you are talking about. Can’t be Laf who is 6’1.

The goals are nice, but more importantly he's finally starting to look dangerous with the puck and not like he's lost on the way to the bowlcut factory. He's been a legitimate threat.

To the people here claiming he had no particular skill in any aspect of the game, proving them wrong! We're starting to see some confidence from the kid, what was clearly missing in his first 3 seasons. Love to see it, go Laf!

In 50 more games played, he has almost caught up in points to widely regarded worst #1ovr pick of all time Alex Daigle, wow!!

Quick, sign this guy to a massive contract.

Oh look - a factual but stupid narrative!

My turn!
He also has more than twice as many points as Flyers legend Claude Giroux did at the same age.

It's almost like some players progress differently than others... what a thought!
