The Jersey Thread III

Recent ones:

2000-01 Columbus Blue Jackets Ron Tugnutt Road - a few repairs, photomatched to at least the 12-26-2000 game, likely worn for the first franchise shutout a few days earlier as well as the first franchise win @ Calgary. I do not think I will ever top this one.

That's awesome! Don't ever let go of that one

Just picked up my freshly sewn on Cam Atkinson 3rd jersey from the Blueline today. Glad I chose to go with them, pretty reasonable to have customization done, and it was done in just under a week and a half. Now time to get a signature on that bad boy. Is it time for training camp yet?

Nice!

Anybody know anything about this one? Open to offers. Signed by Todd Marchant, it says Koho on the back, but it looks like the tag was removed along with the two stinger shoulder patches (there is some fabric from where they used to be).

Without any provenance, it's kind of difficult. I've never really seen anything like it before. It's most likely a store bought authentic (if that's a fight strap I see) that someone decided to take the stinger patches off of, and do a crappy job with it, and then to top it off had Todd Marchant sign it right smack dab on the crest.

The shoulder patches being removed like that almost makes me think someone had it framed at some point - that's what it strikes me as anyway, something modified to look good in a frame, then removed where it...uh, looks less than good.

Hopefully you can find someone who wants it, but it might be tough.

Thank you for the insight, it is a fight strap and I"m pretty sure it's authentic (unfortunate that all the stuff was removed). I've got a jersey frame lying around, maybe I'll just stick it in there and call it a day. If anyones interested send me a PM.

Good guess John. Not really worth anything to anyone unless someone wanted to cut it up to make nameplates. Or you could get a cheap replica jersey and strip the patches and have then put back on this jersey.

Looking to move a few different jerseys out to make room for new ones. PM me if interested:

-Gameworn 10th anniversary Ethan Moreau (home) sz 58
-Replica Slovakian Marian Gaborik (yellow) sz XL
-Retail authentic RJ Umberger (alternate) sz 50
-Retail authentic Jack Johnson (away) sz 54

Wondering if Super G sold some more blood :sarcasm:

I keed, i keed. Very nice collection!

Howitzer added another nice specimen as well.

Stopped by the Blueline while in Cbus last week. Will proudly be representing here in Florida this season with my Bob on.

Ya know, I'm generally pro freedom of speech, but did they really have to make the new OSU Hockey jerseys a giant pro-legalization advertisement? :shakehead

You're already allowed to smoke buckeyes. The SEC did it a few years in a row last decade. :sarcasm:
