Hildeby put up .913 in the AHL last year and that means he's the guy? What the heck. Artur has better numbers this year than Hildeby did last year. Hildeby has generally been a bad goalie. He's only had one season in the AHL above .900.
Artur is 2 months younger than him, and drafted before him. I'd give him a look. If we have to use Hildeby, that's a different discussion. Hildeby hasn't had a good game in months, in the AHL or NHL.
I'm so confused. AA in 11 games 2.36 GAA and .911% save percentage. Hidelby in 41 games 2.41 GAA and .913% . How is that better? What makes AA the guy with those numbers anyway? Talk to me when AA has played 41 AHL games I guess. Hildeby has generally been a bad goaltender? What?
AA is a good goaltender prospect. Hildeby is pretty good as well. He's earned his shot to get a look at the NHL. That's it, that's all.
