Don’t think he was the throw in. Think he was the main return. Johnsson was money in and out for barker. Unfortunately he got hurt.

Tyler Motte is obviously way better than Gauthier.

But he's expiring, wasn't going to re-sign in Ottawa, and the Sens get an RFA back who they have some control over.

Makes sense for both teams, even though Rangers are the clear winner. But Motte was a free agent signing so Ottawa didn't really lose either.

SJones has been the big minutes defenceman promised, he’s produced nice offensive numbers with of course that VERY minus +/-
NAllan signed last year and after having won a Gold Medal at world jrs is now having a productive junior season, was captain at Prince Albert before being dealt to a locked and loaded Seattle team
DJames is the captain at UMD and by all accounts is having a great season this far
