Dundas, Ontario. Can
Domi having himself a game tonight. I will always like him and wouldn't minded at all if Hawks had kept him.

As well, I think a few folks around here should finally admit how wrong they were about Marner's play, and his value to his club.

We will need a thread forcfreexagent targwtsxtovsugn...but that can wait till late season..

However early talk on this to add to roster forx24/25 season (next season( with sone POTENTIAL targetts:

. Bith Maxim Shalunov and Artur Kayumov"s KHL contracts with Lokomotiv end at tge conclusion of this current seSon..I Think both can sign for 2 sessins not the 3 on ELCs younger draft picks must...but maybe I am wrong on this...if for justc2 seasons on first cobtract the Hawks might be interested.. not locked in long term but transitional pieces unless they prove they deserve a 2nd cobtract(if we gavecthem a first contract).

.NCAA frrexagents ...the crop could be enhamcedvifcsonevtop JR. Year collegiate turn proafter thisxseason ...butcas for SR. Free agentsxat tgecend of this season I woukd target Big 6'4 209 Center Gabriel Seger (Cornell)...hecwas a loincloth game player for Cornell last season and is on a better pace so far this season in his Sr. Year ...Plus hevisvonebof the best faceoff guysbin the NCAA...over 63% last season and last tine I looked hecwas just under 2% for this eason...so very goidcon draws.

If JR. year Quinnipiac stars COLIN GRAF (6'1 194) aRWxand Jacob Quillan 6'0 200llb LW/C decide to leave school early and turn pro after this third 3rd college season then that really enhances the NCAA free agent pool ...both are good scorers with good +/- stats asctgeyvcertainly would be up at the top of any target list from college.

Aa to others.. I have not researched othervoitential KHL and Europe candidates or other college candidates .I will try to do that before end of this season.

I usually pass out drooling on myself watching CGY but I keep hearing Gilbert's name but haven't really watched him or watched for him. Is he going to stick in the big league?

Nah

He is journeyman #7 basically at this point at age 27

He will be guy who gets short looks in NHL for next couple years but will probably be firmly planted as minor leaguer at age 30

That's funny. He's playing for Pittsburgh against Leafs tonight.
Entwistle, Johnson, Katchouk, Anderson, … Hinostroza

All pretty much interchangeable fringe 12th to 14th forwards more suited for the AHL where they excel.
And while opinions are just that, (one persons thoughts) I would rank Hino ahead of only Johnson, probably equal to Katchouk but behind Entwistle and Anderson.
Look at most rosters, You will find a Vinny or 2. On a team because they are cheap filler with about 25 teams close to the salary cap but likely bouncing from team to team and between the NHL and AHL.
Personally (again the opinion thing) Entwistle is the best of the group (not saying much) he plays a fast game, doesn’t produce any offense but is responsible defensively, plays with more physicality and can PK. Folks here hate him because he’s getting slotted too high but that’s not really in his control. He’s (to me) the only one of the 5 that could find a regular spot (12 to 14) on a good team.
