Ladd/Ruutu was a very good change of scenery deal that worked out for both teams

Hawks got a key depth cog in cup run while Canes got several productive years from Ruutu before injuries turned him into a 4th liner

Honestly surprised we dont see more of these type of trades. You never know what a fresh start could do for a kid
