Looking back at the Debrincat trade.....
Debrincat for Korchinski, Ludwinski, and 3rd this year
Debrincat 24 goals and 60 points in 72 games. RFA next year UFA the year after. QO will be 9 million.
Korchinski looking like a fantastic pick that fits the rebuild timeline.
Ludwinski struggling.
I think its a clear win. Add the fact that not having Debrincat this year helps us tank.

It’s not even the points. Being hurt consistently means he’s putting himself in bad spots, so he lacks awareness. Not great for a hockey player

Dach has a ton of potential. He's had bad luck with injuries, but no doubt puts himself in bad spots.

Some Hab fans still seem to think he could work at C but its clear he never will
Him moving to wing has likely saved his career but he was drafted to be a franchise C so it will always be disappointing Hawks were team that wasted a 3rd overall pick on him

also Dubios is going to move over to Montreal and with Suziki there there isnt really room as a top 2 center.

Loved Buff as a Hawk, wish they would bring him back for some symbolic one day contract or puck drop, he deserves a Chicago sendoff
