Absurd that he wasn't brought back to the Hawks. He's cheaper than Tuevo and Bertuzzi even

Is it documented anywhere that he even wanted to come back? I can't imagine he would've, knowing the vision of where the team was heading.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure he's said on multiple occasions that Chicago is out of the question for him/he wants to move on.

Kane hinted at wanting to return in the summer.
I just hope he finishes his career somewhere competitive, I don't think you get that in Detroit, maybe another missed playoffs gets him to leave.
I would love to see him get #500 for the Hawks in a home game.
First game ever I got my parents to take us to was when Stan Mikita had 499 goals. He didnt get it that night but Hawks won 5-2 against the Rangers and it was a great game so I had no regrets. He got it next game.
Wanted to see Goulets 500th if possible but he was at 497 and got a hattrick on the road. Since he was more Nordique than Hawk I didnt mind that one that much. Too bad his concussion robbed us of a few years of one of the all time great goal scorers

I knew Jones would be ass for Florida, but I figured he'd at least put on a façade for a couple games to fool them
6 games from him down there so far and only a measly assist to show for it. Also a minus 1, which take plus/minus with a large grain of salt, but it's still not good considering the Panthers only let in a single goal throughout his first three games.
7 games, only 1 assist and -4 plus/minus.
