Lehner is probably not playing in NHL again that seems clear

Its baffling he didn't just show up for exam here and collect $

Not taking exam puts Vegas in potential trouble since they need to have him go thru medical aspect to put on LTIR. So if he refuses to show up for exam they really only have one option and that is to seek termination

Did the Hawks ever dodge a bullet when they moved on from him.

Also allows for debtors to have trouble getting the insured money off of contract termination or what was owed. He could be healthy and needing a new contract which I don’t think they would be able to go after. It’s what evander Kane did I think in his gambling lawsuit which forced a settlement

My friend said his investment firm saw his business plan and never laughed harder in their lives. Definitely wish I had a copy

Anthony Beauvillier makes Penguins opening night roster as expected. May get a shot next to Crosby at ES to start.

Colin Blackwell makes Stars opening night roster. Probably 4th line.

A lot of Oiler fans are mad that they're keeping Corey Perry around and lost a younger guy (Lavoie) that claimed on Waivers by Vegas. Likely 4th line.

Taylor Raddysh makes the Capitals roster. Also likely 4th line.

Mackenzie Entwistle makes the Panthers opening day roster. Will likely be a scratch for the opener.

Tyler Johnson not offered a contract with the Bruins (many of their fans speculated he might be signed after a good camp). It could be similar to Danton Heinen last season who went unsigned with Boston after a good PTO but was eventually signed on October 30, 2023 [waited for cap management reasons].

Entwistle on Waivers today. Already named to opening day roster, likely a similar to Isaak Phillips situation (if he clears they have 30 days to assign him down). Former Binghamon Senator/Elmira Jackal/Ottawa Senator/Evansville Iceman/Wichita Thunder/Belleville Senator/Brampton Beast/Springfield Thunderbird/Manchester Monarch/Florida Panther/Seattle Kraken/Coachella Valley Firebird Chris Driedger in same boat on Waivers.
