Matthews is as good as gone from Toronto imo, Hawks should have the cap flexibility and quite a pitch to make him when he hits UFA...he didnt sign a 5 year extension that brings him to market to stay in Toronto, he might be exactly what they need at that point to get into that elite tier of teams

If Hawks traded pick would rules be lifted off pick so that team that acquires pick can be in lotto?
Seems to me that would be fine as it doesn't reward team that trades pick to watch it become lotto pick
