The longer the series the better for us, IMO.
Any team that can beat us 4 times will have earned it, but we have been staring down the barrel of the gun since January, we will not blink now.
There is 100% belief in that room right now, we will leave it all out on the ice, I promise you that.
Dangle needs viewers. Being a Leafs whiner, they're guaranteed. Surprised he didn't bring up the Pens "loser points."Dangle can't let this game go, they were upset during yesterdays podcast
Hell, Bob even spotted y'all 3 goals on the first 3 shots in one of those games. You know what is funny (depends who you are cheering for I guess)? As you may know, Habs have Florida's unprotected 1st rounder. Now for 99% of the season, Panthers were in a lottery position as they were out of the playoffs. Habs overachieved this year and were able to record at least 1 win against most division rivals. The games they should had the most motivation to play for (to keep them out of a playoffs spot), they completely got destroyed allowing 27 goals and only scoring 11 in 4 games.
Just 1 win vs Florida in those games and Habs would have had 2 top 16 picks. The Panthers are an infinitely better team but having Habs steal wins vs other teams but not Florida is the perfect example of shooting yourself in the foot.
They did, but Florida had the tie breakers. Both teams lost their last two games. So, it evened out. In a different world, the Pens could have won the game they lost to the Cats in early March. And if we're going meta, the Canes could have thrown that last game of the season and hoped the Devils took care of the cats in the first round.Didnt Pittsburgh control their destiny against and absolute garbage team and could have knocked Florida out............ but pitts lost against said garbage
or am i remember things wrong at the end of the season. I could be wrong.
Panthers lost game 1 In Boston. They are 8-0 on the road since. This is the most amazing part of this run, imo.Cats are 11-1 since being down 3-1 to the Bruins.
