Is that what might be going on with a Julep orange drink?

Force Julep to show a carb count on their cups. Sugar? Milk mixed in with orange juice? WTF.
Tried the Hazukido croissant thingy downtown.
The best example I've ever seen of a good product that just isn't worth the money.

Geckoes are cool, they're always smiling. I had anoles for a while in a big vivarium I made. One of them was tame and would crawl up to my neck area and stay there for hours. I guess he felt safe and warm.
Like Harry from the show? cool! Probably just eating mites, lice etc
Whenever I can I search for these guys near the mrs family rural property, rumored to be some but haven't spotted one yet.

That looks like a giant Asian salamander.
Sounds like a truly authentic Japanese culinary treat, not. All the time I've spent there and the territories, never had one let alone seen one,but not exactly seeking them out either.
Never seen a croissant in Japan?
Nope! as I said, never sought them out and I actually don't eat them, don't care for them.
It's a giant Japanese one,the one that created the myth of Godzilla. Legend has it that they would take small children if they were to close the water.
Made myself an Aster Family Sour rather than pay attention to the game. This is a double, but the normal specs are
1.5 oz Cynar
1 oz lemon juice
0.5 oz orgeat
1 egg white (I didn't double the egg white even for the double)
Shake over ice, double strain and garnish with some angostura bitters

Yeah, it's an artichoke based liqueur. Tastes nothing like artichoke, mind you.Looks great! What is Cynar, that label looks like an artichoke?

All that talk about Japan I went out to the Japanese grocery store and bought Canadian shrimps. Then I looked at their bakery stuff. I saw some croissants but I don't know if they are the same. I also saw something called soft cheesecake. It looked similar to a flat poundcake. I always buy candy and soda. Their Ramune soda tastes just like a Swedish soft drink that I drank as a kid. I also got a raspberry Panna Cotta.
I had Jesus over to dinner last night!
I have a neighbour who was born in Mexico but he moved to the US when he was 6 years old.
He is a nice guy and I thought why not? So we were drinking Moscow Mules, cider and beer watching football.
I had bought 2 dinners from one of those expensive hippy grocery stores called New Seasons.
He has a tiny Chihuahua called Tobias who has one of those black leather collars with spikes so I bought one for Cactus Jack
and I am going to take a photo of them together. "Two friends going out for some S & M! "![]()
