OT: The Food & Drinks Thread (Part 5)

While walking around the store I noticed they had frozen Swedish type of shrimps from Canada, they are so good. I made a Shrimp Trawler sandwich.

Look like they type we'd get in the NL, small but tasty. Just like how I like my women:laugh:

Had some left over coconut cream after making some Panang curry so made some pina coladas. Brings back the memories of the Caribbean, good, but kind of addictive. Those guys go down like nothing!:help:

It's Americanized Mexican food. Not that good. You can get way better at any mexican restaurant.

I do have a soft spot for their supreme fries though. I also get cravings for their burrito full of overly processed stuff sometimes.

It's fast food and cheap and that's all I know, handy at times of course but if I want Mexican food that is not my go to for sure.

You can get good Tex-Mex. Taco Bell just isn't it. I'll put it just above Burger King as far as fast food goes.

Hazing incident?

I've seen more than a few grown men wince when they have a gherkin inserted in through the out door.:eek2:

No, I was making pickles. It was close to 100 degrees F outside, I only had an AC in the bedroom and it was really hot. I stood there in my robe making bread and butter pickles so I cooked up a sweet brine and put the cucumber slices into the large pot, Then I slipped and I flipped the ladle like it was a catapult. 2 slices hit me, one got stuck underneath the robe knot on my belly approx 7 cm below my navel, the other landed on my left foot on top where the skin is very thin. I rushed to the faucet and turned on the cold water except that it was approx 70 degrees so it didn't help at all and it didn't get cold until after 2 minutes and then the damage was done. I even got blisters. The wound on my belly never healed properly since when I wore pants the belt buckle was exactly where the wound was.

A kitchen can be a dangerous place!

Those clever Canucks! attempting to unburden the overpopulation in the States, guess they thought the abundance or firearm related kills was going too slowly.
