In the National league today Stockport won to go back to the top by 3 but trail 2nd place Wrexham on GD. Stockport play 4th play Halifax with any result securing them automatic promotion while Halifax are looking to secure a playoff bye. Wrexham play 8th place D&R who need a win to try to make the playoffs. If Wrexham win and Stockport lose the Wrexham win the league, they are secured at least a bye for the playoffs.
