I need to buy my daughter a flight from NYC to Mexico at Xmas to join us there. I assume it is better to buy it soon? Not sure how it works in the US. I am seeing around $850 right now which would be fine if it were Canadian dollars. Straight from AA was more expensive. Where is the best place to get US flights for the holidays and when I suppose? Rick's had 2 hits and I do like the Foo Fighters for the most part. It is such an unlikely match which makes it even better. I love that artists are starting to re-imagine songs that are actually good and honor the original. Luke Combs rendition of Fast Car is incredible and I hope he collaborates with Tracy Chapman

Only in mini golf!

When my wife player her first round ever she put her tee shot within 6 inches of the cup on a par three and tapped in for birdie. I told her she should pick up her clubs, leave the course and never play again because it was so impressive. Fortunately she is still playing today!!

Quick Dick explains the process of making hay...

This is very cool. The farmers around here do the same thing only their machinery is much smaller. They also still do square bales, not everybody can handle or needs a round bale. One of the local farmers was seriously injured while moving a round bale- for some reason the bale shifted while being lifted, it rolled onto the tractor and nearly crushed him- broke his sternum & all of his ribs. He will recover but this is one reason why farming is such a dangerous job.

When I was growing up we raised cows for beef. Every summer my sister & I would go haying. Our job was to pick up the bales as they came off the baler & throw them onto a flatbed truck. Once that was done we'd ride down to the barn to unload & stack the bales in the loft. As God as my witness the weather was never less than 95 degrees Farenheit with 85% humidity. Believe me I was not upset in the least when it was time to butcher those cows....

Never got a Hole in 1, but I did get a Hole in 3. Hit my first shot to an island green Par 3 and rolled it over the back of the green and into the water. Drained the second one off the tee for par. 4 Iron both times.

Sucks, because I know that's the only time in my life it'll ever happen and I wasted it on a Provisional......

You couldn't pay me to fly in a MIG-23, especially at an airshow. That jet is one of the biggest pieces of sh*t that was ever mass produced. Very unstable and difficult to fly, especially at high speeds. An old skipper of mine flew them with the 4477th Test and Eval squadron and he hated it. It was such a beast, that only certain pilots were qualified to take it up.

I used to dream of going 2 v 4 against MIG-23s.....

The MIG-21 on the other hand, was a fantastic little fighter..

Just got back from 4 day outdoor concert called Boots and Hearts near Barrie Ontario ..biggest concert in Canada ...anyway NHL was well represented... Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl were 10 feet away from me Friday night, and I think Bobby Orr may have been behind me last night ...wearing a Bruins ball cap ...I turned around and said "Hey Bobby Orr!" ..he smiled back and said "are the Bruins your team?"...I said "Since birth!"....so I think it was Bobby....looked like Bobby but I didn't want to pry as he was in a special guest area as were Connor and Leon Friday night

Tracey's original is far better but I'm glad Luke didn't change it up ...basically tried to stay true to the original...the sunny side of the Story is Tracey Chapman has made close to $1M in royalties so far from Luke's version ...nice little payday

I'm legit thrilled for her for that exact reason, because I think her song is a masterpiece. I just can't stand his cover. Think it's lifeless and boring.
