I think most fans have accepted it. He is what he is now.He does work on it and it seems better than when he came into the league but obviously still not good enough. I think we just need to accept the fact that his shot is probably as good as it’s going to get.
Many leafs fans just prefer he was no longer on the team. The assets we would get for him just make more sense going forward. this team isn’t good enough to compete for the cup and there does not appear to be a realistic way of improving with so much money already tied up.
If anyone but Dubas was the GM, I think he would be moved before the season starts.
