These lists are missing LA Kings superstar forward Darnell Nurse, I feel like he's set up so many clutch goals
He's done so much in so many situations. Sometimes u wonder if he's a forward with the way he's setting them up!

Draisaitl.

He beats you in the corners. He beats you on the wall. You can't knock him off the puck. To top it all off, he's one of the most skilled players on the planet. You just can't stop him or beat him anywhere on the ice.

Draisaitl leads his team in the postseason. He is a tank, and he deserves recognition this time of year for putting this Oilers core on his back.

On the Leafs, I actually think Rielly has probably been their MVP so far. I know Marner has the points and ROR has impressed, but Leaf fans were expecting Rielly - Schenn to be the pairing that gets caved in and it’s been the only good one lol

Hard to bet against Marner right now, hes been terrific.

Top in points, and +/-

Also playing the 3rd most mins (behind McDvaid and Kopitar)

As someone that has been on the Marner > Matthews train for a while, nice that hes really showing his worth this postseason. Not that matthews has been bad or anything, but marner has been the man for toronto so far.

While Marner has the points and has been really good, it's a toss up between him, RoR and Matthews.

Matthews has been on the ice for all of 2 goals these playoffs.

Both goals came as he was coming off the bench and hadn't even been involved in the play.

That means that Tampa Bay hasn't scored a single goal on the line Matthews has been a part of on the ice in 4 games.

In game 2, he was on the ice for a total of 0 shots on goal against.

Also at or near the top in hits, blocked shots.

7 points in 4 games isn't bad either.

It's really impressive. What he did last year didn't get enough attention and he's carrying the team this year.

I rag on his putrid defense at times but over 2 ppg in the playoffs over 20 games is insane.
He mails it in pretty hard in the regular season....

After last games updated list:

  • Roope Hintz 11
  • Mitchell Marner 10
  • Leon Draisaitl 10
  • Evan Bouchard 8
  • Connor McDavid 8
  • Neal Pionk 7
  • Auston Matthews 7
  • William Nylander 7
  • Taylor Hall 7
  • Ryan O'Reilly 7
I have Hintz as the frontrunner now, as he has almost double the points the next best on his team has. He also has a FO% of 58.33.
Here are my choices:

Forwards:

1. Hintz
2. Draisaitl
3. Marner

D:men:

1. Bouchard
2. Heiskanen
3. Fox

Goalies:

1. Shesty
2. Oettinger
3. Ullmark

Draisaitl has been something else. Really fun to watch him play, but honorable mention to Hintz and Marner. Krieder is having another good showing after his 10 goals in 20 games last year as well.

It`s really early and anything can happen. Drai, Marner, Hintz change from game to game. I have a feeling McDavid will get hot eventually too.
