I see the Canes media is all out in force today with the "won in all phases except the scoreboard" rationalizing over the game.

I'm tired of seeing us say we outplayed the opponent only to lose. When it happens so frequently it's a systemic problem and it sure as shit looks like we don't have enough scorers.

It's almost like our front office thought we could just defense our way to a Stanley Cup without considering that it might be a good idea to have some proven goal scorers in the lineup. And preferably ones who werent going to spend half the season on IR

This one is frustrating. We had the Bruins beat this game. The quick whistle on Fast and the Krejci cross check to Aho’s face. But the Canes still had an opportunity to close it out themselves and they shot themselves in the foot. The too many men in OT is just something you can’t do. Also come on Brindy…. Burns, Skjei, & Staal in OT, what are trying to do? Force a shootout?

They’ve lost all the OTs so I’d say forcing a shootout was probably their best chance of winnning.

I don’t have a problem with you complaining about them losing. I have a problem with you complaining about the 22 year old goaltender who was the only reason they were in the game in the first place. A point on the road, in a game that started at 1:00, against a team that is not only the best in the NHL right now, but have a goal differential of almost 2 goals per game.

This is a new roster, and it's gonna take time to gel. The best they can do now is stay in the hunt until the team comes together.

This is a good regular season result.
