Auston has shown that he can throw his body around when he wants to...the problem is nobody has ever tried to get that element to be developed in his game. The entire franchise has coddled his ass and never offered up criticism as long as he was scoring, there was always room for improvement on the physical side.

As far as fighting? I wouldn't hold my breath

The D is atrocious and we have so many by standards up front…. Matthews has been terrible. Nylander has been garbage. Tavares looks like he forgot how to hockey. Marner is terrible except for last game. Simply unacceptable

Don't forget Carlton The Bear has been having mediocre performances as of late, too.

Hate the guy with a passion but he probably is a pretty good guy off the ice. Went to college with a bunch of guys I grew up playing minor hockey against that I hated so much on the ice and then they ended up being my best friends in school lol

One of my room mates was also a long time soccer team mate. The guy was the biggest Richard Head ever on the field, but a decent guy away from the pitch....most of the time, lol.

Anyone looked at Boston's record in the last 10 games after their easy start to the season? If you want a statement game, the Bruins got rinsed when they played against a strong Rangers team last Saturday. They don't have the personnel to be the team they were last regular season.

So another easy win for the Blue & White?

To be fair, Matthews accidentally ran into someone last game. People used to accuse Sundin of being soft, most of that was blatant Swede hate, he was an absolute warrior. The other teams zeroed in on him relentlessly, he was the only star, and he not only survived, he thrived. Matthews needs to find something inside him, because he simply doesn’t have the jam or internal motor to truly be all he can.
