Ya he is cooked. I cannot fathom how he ever scored 29 yes 29 goals with Vegas.
The guy is cursed. It’s beyond just sucking , he has been cursed by some old Gypsy lady.

I don't understand why some people think it's a slam dunk he gets signed to an NHL contract next year. It's really not at this current pace.

There's a myriad of reasons.

He's gonna be 32 years old and 33 before the end of next season. He'll be one of the top 100-110 oldest players in the league if he plays next year.

He's the ultimate journeyman, having played with 7 teams in 10 years and 6 different teams in the last 6 seasons.

The only team he's made it 100 games playing for is Minnesota, his first team.

I don't think this is a player that's gonna be very highly coveted.

He may have one more year left in the league.

If he scores a bunch of goals from here on out then all bets are off. He should have no trouble getting a one year deal, but it'll be a paycut from what he's making now.

But also, Clamoring for Mercer when he had a breakaway and stick handled past the net..... Dude had the best type of breakaway. Speed, space, and clean ice. No one was pressuring him but goalie. He failed.

I'll go with frustrating loss then. We should have won this game in a rout. But we lost due to catastrophic breakdowns, shitty goaltending, and poor finishing.

Playoff teams need to take out the trash in games like this, and we just aren't right now.

I am saying it again. Fire Ruff right now for putting the worst forward in the history of the NHL Erik Haula out with the goalie pulled. Right now I am getting to @Bleedred levels of hatred for Haul as he feels for Blackwood.

I'm getting there with you.

There comes a point where your hands are gone and you just can't score anymore.

I wouldn't be surprised if Haula scores more goals off of a deflections than not for the remainder of the year. That's assuming he will get another 6-8 goals.

This x1000. Far and away seems to be the most optimal lineup at this point.

No chance. Probably has until the end of the season at this point.

It is 8 in a row at home now. Lose Saturday it is 9. Lose the next two games and it is 3-12 stretch basically. They would get past by the Rangers who were 14 points back. At a certain point front office / ownership steps in and makes a change to try and turn things around. Especially as Lindy is pretty much a lame duck coach and a replacement is on the bench. It is one of those if you are going to make the change at the end of year, you make it now.

I’m not necessarily mad at Lindy. This isn’t really a coaching issue overall. Their depth is getting exposed. But a coaches job is not let things snowball. It has snowballed here. And there have been snowball the past two years as well. It might be time for a new voice.

No one besides Jack and Nico can score consistently enough.
Our entire team has disappeared. Bratt just stands out more because he has shown he can be dynamic but has disappeared.
Mercer , Wood , Tatar , Sharangovich , Zetterlund ,all have been ice cold for too long now.
Time to make a trade before we fall out of a playoff spot . You CANNOT wait u til you are out of the playoffs before you make a move … make a move now.
Hoktz is not it. He is a complimentary piece that can’t keep up with the pace of the game. He is useless in his own end and on the forecheck. Trade him plus whatever else it would take to get Meier.

These guys are lacking poise. The young guys have the excuse of inexperience, but guys like Tatar and Haula are just f***ing mediocre.

When is Lindy gonna stop force feeding them top 6 time while guys like Sharangovich and Holtz, literally like the only two guys who can actually snipe a puck, are wallowing in the bottom six?

I'd rather they lose playing like shit than this. Infuriating.

These line combos are what I’d like to see, as well. Haula and Tatar should not be in the top 6 and getting significant ice time. Not sure what Rango did to get in Ruff’s doghouse but this isn’t the kind of player who is useful in a bottom 6 role. Let’s see some damn adjustments already!!

It really is time to transition to the Brunette era.

And not because of this loss, but Ruff shouldn't have even survived last season and been here to hear Fire Lindy chants.

They might be back after the road trip if we haven't turned it around.

That's if he makes it back.

But every time I say he's gonna be fired it's almost like it adds another couple months to his tenure.

So he'll probably be here until March of 2026.
