People that go to those extremes.. Something really wrong or lacking in their lives IMO. Similar to anything that people get WAY too into. My friend who is into Kpop has told me stories and reports of the f***ed up things the talents have to go through and it's so creepy/way over the line.

Gotta be honest, don't know what is toxic about any of these. Not doubting you AB, there probably is, but I have definitely fallen out of the loop when it comes to entertainment news. I think it is a waste of time for me now.

Korean record labels are complete trash, the groups still get enough money to buy buildings as @JWK told me, so they're well off, but the amount they take is insane including the hours. The Record company pretty much controls their schedules from practice to live shows to events to international venues. There are some pretty tragic stories out there of bands getting into car accidents due to exhaustion.

Yeah I had to Google it and it seems that Marvel sales are at a all time low with this new series. Yikes.

With the Last Jedi , some dude created a petition to have the movie seperated from cannon meaning not apart of the series, its reached 81,000 signatures , it also gets attacked for prominently featuring minority characters , Force Awakens got alot of this too
Fans are protesting WB to release a non existent Zach Snyder cut of Justice league
Batman vs Superman i feel like kicked off this Rotten Tomatoes madness were in now when in comes to movies, critics gave a terrible score, while fans liked it, and the RT madness continued into the Last Jedi

I feel like overall the fandom this past year was very extreme.

I hate that almost everything is becoming politicized, and the whole outrage culture in general can be pretty annoying.

@LieutenantDangle I just watched that episode last night, I loved it too. Definitely a different episode than the rest, the ending surprised me a bit too.

Crocodile was by far my least favourite episode of the entire series, just really boring to me.

I felt that way about Metalhead. It started off creepy and intense and i kept waiting for it to start and it just puttered out

Yeah, I'm not really loving S4 so far. Episode 1,2, and 4 were good. But seasons 1 & 2 were awesome, especially S2.

I just loved the crime drama feel of it

USS Callister, Hang the DJ and Black Museum were the great episodes in season 4. The other three were ok.

I think they deliberately try to mix up the tone and storytelling. If it's too predictable and the audience just expects a somewhat pessimistic view of technology, how humans abuse the technology and a big twist it takes away some of the charm. So we get some episodes with happy endings and we get some without a big twist.

It's so much harder to do an anthology tv show where you have to establish a world, characters and story from scratch every episode. It's almost inevitable that there are some duds and even the duds in Black Mirror aren't that bad.

I didn't mind Crocodile but it was very bleak. The actor playing Mia was great though.
