Never watched twilight zone to be honest.

Black Mirror is messed though. Just finished another episode in season 2, so... ****ed.

Oh you should check it out. I mean at this point itll be just charming but there's some good bits in there

I just rewatched White Christmas, forgot how good it was.

Black Mirror can be quite bleak. Charlie Brooker is a cynic at heart. He does relax a bit in season 3-4 where there are some episodes with what I would call happy endings by Black Mirror standards.

I worked nearly the whole day, outside, in a t-shirt and carharts. It was nearly 60 degrees in the sun.

Something is very, very wrong in the mountain West. It's freaking January and winter still hasn't arrived at all.

Yeah, charming is a good word. It's honestly predictable and boring now, but for the TV history/influence aspect it's interesting to watch.

I was just reading an article about how alot of stars back then got their start on the Zone like Shatner, Julie Newmar ( She played Catwoman on Batman,) and Elizabeth Montgomery ...Samantha from Bewitched...who oddly enough was in an episode with Charles Bronson

Well, I don't know who it'd have to be for me to spot someone like that without knowing to look for them. Audrey Hepburn and Jimmy Stewart? Ha.

Anyway, I think Eye of the Beholder is a perfect example of what I said before. You know five minutes in what the whole thing is about, and then you wait for the big reveal for an eternity. And then when it comes it looks like shit. But still there's a certain aesthetic that you like about the show, knowing it was made in the 1960's.

I think my favorite is Monsters on Maple St.

hmm will have to watch White Christmas; I've never seen it...

I watched Some Like It Hot a couple months ago - never really understood the whole affection for Marilyn Monroe....I mean she is attractive and all....but after watching Some Like It Hot I can definitely see the sex appeal.....she was smokin hot in that one.

I was maybe 15-ish when I saw Some Like It Hot on TV, and I can confirm this information.

So the girl that I'm interested in had her knee surgery today. We'd talked briefly yesterday, nothing major just me telling her that I hope it all goes smoothly today, and she thanked me for that and told me about her day (and I her about mine). I was honestly expecting to hear from her tomorrow on everything, but low-and-behold she messaged me this afternoon, saying she was home (in a lot of pain and consumed with nausea), but that everything went well, and that she didn't know a lot on the specifics (she was still under anesthetics when the doctor went over the results of the procedure w/ her mom), but that she knew she was not on a "no weight-bearing" restriction.

It might be odd, but it made me feel good that she sent it. I mean, obviously because of my interest I'm happy everything went well. But I don't know, it felt like a small showing that she does have interest (of course, there have been other things in the past, but this was initiated by her, rather than me starting the messaging).

I'm very much LTTP in regards Westworld, but I'm 8 episodes in and constantly awestruck by the acting...particularly of Thandie Newton and Evan Rachel Wood. They must've been chomping at the bit to play characters that have to change emotion and reset so fluidly and believably. Probably made the nudity aspect much less daunting.

Also have to mention that scene with the dad early on in the show...man, so phenomenal. Louis Herthum deserves an award based on it alone.
