Saw Ready Player One. Meh. The easter eggs were fun since the 80s are kinda my thang. I imagine fans of the book will not love it.

Yup, spot on. I understand why it was adapted to try and appeal to a broader audience, but I think there was enough content in the book that would've still made it appealing without adding a CGI-filled cartrack-from-hell challenge.

Yeah, just part time, a couple nights a week. I'm in Boulder, so driving college students around is easy usually. But this trip took me to DIA, down to Centennial, then to Pine, which is 10 miles west of Conifer in the mountains. I had to work the next day and didn't get home till after 1.
All in one ride?! That's quite the Uber. Must have been $100+ dollars at least.

I haven't finished the book yet, but I loved the movie. Books and films are two vastly different storytelling mediums, so as long as the spirit of the story remains intact (which I believe it did with RPO), then I always consider it a successful adaptation.

We have a really important game coming up and we need to find our inner Vikings.

Swedish Viking metal from Amon Amarth. ;-)

Hurt my back at the gym, I'm getting old
Surprised you didn't injury yourself picking up tacos from Bell.

In other news, I got my Fitbit Versa on Monday and I am loving it. I especially love how all my fitness is now with just one app and notifies me to drink water, move around, and tracks my BPM. My favourite feature thus far is indeed the sleep tracking which I've been studying mine non-stop throughout the day. And if any of you decided to take a basic science class knows, sleep is extremely important when it comes to maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Oh, it definitely is, which is why I maintain an average of 4.5 hours of sleep a night!

Ah damn dude, that's brutal. Do you have to function on caffeine or those related energy drinks?

Finally got internet in my apartment yesterday. I've spent the better part of today trying to get my damn DNS thing to work so I can get around the many blackouts. Somehow it works on the laptop (I think), but the Xbox isn't having any of it.

I like reading.
Way back in elementary school, I learned to love reading.
It all started with a series of books about "Five Yard Fuller", by Bob Wells.
I looked into picking those books up to read them again.
Ridiculous prices...

At the In This Moment concert right now. Waiting for the Hollywood Undead to play. Two openers down.

Hard to miss a playoff game for this but I bought the tickets months ago.

For the record. If you're trying to buy a car (or anything) from a person online and have trouble answering your phone during the process of negotiation.... set up your voicemail FFS.

I like Illegal P's but feel like their salsa is very inferior to others. They make up with it though in their Queso.

If you want true burrito heaven though, Freebirds is the gold standard. Wish they had one here.
