Teams were all like "I bet you can't even sign your own RFAs". Nothing can stop Francis, nothing.

This is small potatoes compared to the sh!tstorm when the Hurricanes failed to sign Zach Parise.

That one was bad, but at least part of that was because we somehow weren't one of the first teams eliminated from his list of destinations. Suter eliminated us right away, but I believe Parise gave us a bit of time to stew in false hope before rejecting the team.

I'm in the minority here, but I think RF does indeed have a plan and that is that he is indeed getting ready for a total re-build. He just cannot say that in this market.

If we sign Cam or ES I'd be shocked. The ONLY move that was made for immediate help was the Wiz move. Everything else is pointing to a tear down and re-build for 16-17, a tear down that has quietly begun. And that includes signing no one this UFA period.

Lack tells me Cam is gone. No activity today tells me ES is gone.

Murphy certainly is more movable now than he was last year. I wouldn't mind seeing what we could get for him.

Also, apparently Pittsburgh's 1st round pick in the Kessel trade is a conditional one.
