Just played the first 5 hours of the new Zelda. Wow. Does not disappoint. This game is going to take me like 100 hours to beat. Lol. I tend to explore more and try to do all the side-quests.

I have to set myself time limits. You just keep playing and playing and don’t realize the time. I figure anything more than 3 hours at a time is too much.
I’m going to beat the story this weekend because it’s always on my mind. I’ve put a ton of hours into it, I need to be more productive lol.

You and me both my friend. But as long as they don't do to the Chrono Trigger remake what they did to FF7, where it's an entirely different game.

I loved the FF7 remake but I agree about Chrono Trigger keep the plot/story the same , maybe just add some more details.

I did too, don't get me wrong. But it isn't the FF7 I know and love. It is a great game in its own right, like a 9/10. But as a remake, I give it like a 5/10. They changed too much of the core for my liking and the core of Chrono Trigger is what is so important.

With the intro sounding something like this…

Super Mario RPG is one of the most underrated games ever. I know its loved, it isn't loved enough.

In regards to a CT remake: I don't think there is much leeway to change CT even if they wanted to as there were 9000023923923023 different ways to beat that game as it was. At most they may go to a bit of a different combat style (more Tales series esque) but even then it wouldn't be necessary, turn based games still exist and can be good (persona 5 being a semi recent one that was excellent.)

Give me a proper, full Xenogears remake, Squeenix. Please.

Absolutely stoked for SMRPG remake. I remember my friend playing a lot of SO2 when we were in grade school, but I never played it myself. Might check this out.

Playing Mass Effect (Definitive PS5) for the first time and liking it.

And, if we're talking about things to be remade, let's add Vagrant Story to the list. Maybe the most underrated game of its generation.

So, I am about 20+ hours into Zelda, I just keep exploring, and exploring, and exploring. Not to give too much away. But it's like they took Skyward Sword, BotW, and Twilight Princess and merged them together.

This game is going to easily be on the top of my list of Zelda's.

Vagrant Story would be another awesome remake/remaster. I always forget how fun learning that game was.

Would love a FFT remaster too. Wasn't that semi-announced recently? Or someone mined info on it or something? I just want to be able to play all these 20+ year old titles on an updated platform/my PC.

It’s f***ing amazing. I wish i had more time to play though. Will be a very slow burn for me.

Annnndd combat is incredibly addicting.

I’ve spent way too much time in the uh… training area just trying to come up with new combos.

Also anyone who reviewed this game as button mash-y and hack and slash must have played with the equippables that make this game a breeze. You really get punished if you don’t take the time to learn what certain enemies are doing. I nearly
Got my ass kicked by a non boss thinking i could take it out in a few hits.
