So replaying FF VII, had to rename Red XIII, Nanaki . I'm crazy, lol.
Speaking of old school graphics and games:
Has anyone heard any updates on The Last Night?
I actually know someone who was doing some freelance art work for this game, last I heard they were aiming for 2019 as a release but the studio who was making the game ran into some funding issues.
Not sure what the latest status was, but they were supposed to have a trailer at E3 last year and because of the funding stuff it got pulled
Final Fantasy VII Remake Feels Great To Play, But The Project Might Not Be Finished For A While
This makes it seem a little more promising
I’m fine with changing the battle system, I’d rather them try to do new things while keeping the same feel or heart of the game rather than just updating the graphics and sending it out. I’ll with hold my judgement of how it actually plays until it comes out and I get the chance to play itThis remake should have been a slam dunk and they blew it by changing the battle system. They made it look incredible then changed one of the things that defines the early Final Fantasy games. Not to mention the potential for chaptered releases which is also insulting since they will charge out the ass for each installment. I'm really disappointed about this, I was so excited for it so I can't help but be bitter.
Sounds like that’s exactly what they’re doing with this Midgar sectionI can get behind the FF7 remake approach if they really expanded things, fleshed out certain areas, and can deliver on the concept of each chapter feeling like a game onto itself.

I need to get back into Prison Architect. It was recently sold to Paradox, and they laid out a robust dev plan, so I'm excited.

I have to re-install it. Been awhile since I've played and I have a new laptop. I used to go with France or Spain when I first started, but when you play that 100 times over and over you start looking for new challenges. Byzantium I tried once but I think I got destroyed early on. I think I was Portugal on my last run and went heavy into colonizing. I definitely need to get back into it though!@Kupo @Rangers743 any cool EU4 campaigns lately? I'm in the mid 1600s on my first Byzantium run, it's sooooo much fun. Ottos were gone by 1500.
I've had a lot of fun with it. Gets pretty in-depth if you build a big enough prison. Pretty good prison management game that originally started out from a very small team, and now picked up by a big dev company.I've seen that, and picked it up for free, but haven't played yet. Interested in your thoughts.
RimWorld is another one I need to get back into. That's a good one yeah. Didn't know Paradox picked it up.
For that style of game, I really like RimWorld.

It has been WAY too long haha.

But I haven't played it in a while and I'm looking forward to getting back into it. Paradox said they're going to be releasing stuff in July (mostly bug fixes) and I hope they will eventually release new content.
Because if you fail in the games, it's hilarious and has no consequencesConsidering how much of my damn time is spent dealing with business matters, I have no idea why I am continually drawn to management games, tycoon games or builders.
Speaking of Paradox, I am very interested to see how Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 comes out.
