His expiring contract was absurdly team-friendly. Tuch fully deserves his coming payday. Every dollar. Every year.

I'd love to have him back, but if he goes elsewhere I'll wish him well with no bitterness.
Because he signed a bad deal last time?

Thats on him.

You’re paying for the player they’re going to be on this deal…not the one they were on the last deal. And he’s not going to be an 8 figure hockey player halfway through the deal he’s getting.

Only need Tage as 1C if Norris is out and McLeod is traded IMO. Norris on the 1st line, McLeod on the 2nd line, Helenius or Ostlund or Kulich on the 3rd line, Carrick on the 4th. Whichever kid isn't centering the 3rd line can play wing. There's no shortage of centers on this team. I'm not worried about the kids being used. Helenius and Ostlund both performed well in the playoffs, Helenius at the Worlds, I think they can handle the regular season just fine.
I have all the trust in the world helenius and ostlund will turn out as fine nhlers. Dont get me wrong.

Tage is not a1c. McLeod is not a 2c. Kulich is a bigger wild card than me on July 4th lol.

Norris will play 40 games and im sure they will be good though.

If you can point out an example of a cup winning team built at center this way and having success im all ears....
