I'm sick of you, this is a pointless argument. They get in certain deals, a package deal or a change of scenery. You realize we're going to have to trade someone to turn this team around.
We need roster spots for a new guy to fill. You read what I wrote, Mitts wasn't strruggle when we traded him.
You can't wait forever for ALL your young guys to develop, I don't care, I'll trade Power and Tuch and anyone to turn this team around, they're not going anywhere with this shitty roster.
HOCKEY DEALS, NO FOR FUTURES. They traded Eichel, Reinhart and almost everyone else for futures.

Why are they sending Johnson to the AHL when he wasn't that bad and still playing with Bryson, Jokiharju and Gilbert? Johnson is almost 24, he has his own upside to his game and I think he would be good on the third pair with one of the physical guys. It doesn't make sense. Waive Bryson, send Jokiharju to the moon or Nashville. I don't understand who's making these decisions.
Benson and Quinn have high hockey IQ, you want to keep those players, less dumb players on the roster. We need to rebuild the top 6 and defense. I don't like this whole three PMD LDs thing. If we could get a top 6 C and top 4 RD in one deal that would be great, we need some good and reliable veterans.

Kadri + Weegar (I don't care about Kadri's contract or anything, but I watch him play and the dude puts in a lot of effort and I think he's from Ontario)

Dude you're spending way too much time here. Forget about them. Go outside. Mow the lawn, catch some fish. Just do something that will make you happy.
It depresses me even more seeing the same people post here, because they think this might turn around.

Johnson doesn't have to clear waivers and they needed the roster spot for Levi. It's as simple as that.
It's the same for why Kozak was sent down when Greenway was back.

I would much rather Power for EP40 straight up. But maybe Canucks don't do it without Cozens idk.

Pettersson should be more valuable than Power/Byram, despite Owen's potential. Cozens is bad right now and I don't even see a place for him on line up. I'd rather keep Quinn, who has a hockey IQ and has shown potential, than not smart Cozens.
If only it were Power + Cozens for EP40. I would try to bring return another piece from the Canucks even if we had to add prospect or pick.

Well, I saw on their board that they wouldn't mind getting prospect+ for Andersson, there was no talk about Weegar, but maybe that would work too, something like Kulich+. Just why would the Canucks trade EP40 or even Miller where they're not bringing back someone like Cozens, then their center depth would suffer greatly.

I think our 1st is very valuable right now, given where we are. But we get two very good legit and expirience players to build around, in addition to the ones we already have.

I don't hate giving Levi a handful of starts like this.
Before the season, I was calling for them to start Levi in Rochester and having him get a few of these types of games to keep him on his toes.
I think what we are learning is that Dahlin is responsible for the majority (all?) of our wins. Which isn’t that surprising to me, but might be eye opening for the fans that are highly critical of him as he carries the weight of all these losers directly on his shoulders every game.

I wouldn't even consider trading that 1st unless it was lottery protected.
I think Cozens has enough value that if Conroy is in any way open to moving Weegar and his contract, that you can get Weegar for Cozens plus way less than Jokiharju and a 1st.
Ryan Johnson is not the difference between winning and losing.

Acknowledging Friedman is pulling this out of his behind, but for my own delusion I am accepting it as 100% happening.
EP40 is the exact kind of player we are lacking. Tage as your 2C makes your roster infinitely better. I'd try to get Soucy back as well just to get some more edge on the backend.
