Adams needs to target and initiate the trades…not wait for the offers.

He has need both, try to find a trade himself 24/7 and listen to all offers for his players and discuss them.

I don't know if that's the set up - they've tried putting him toward the top of the right wing circle.

Can't keep putting JJ on the PP, he kills so much when the puck comes to him on the wall. That was a really nice thing about Mitts, he could collect the puck and calm everything down

Sadly I see the same trajectory because of the organization's decisions to fast track guys. We will be left with a 4th line winger with a regressed skillset, when he should've been an effective "middle 6 guy" with a pretty complete skillset if we were even a little bit patient.

His name has been tossed around here but for a lesser asset.

At his cap hit he’s fine as a solid and defensively responsible 3C with good face off numbers. Plug and play replacement level guy when it comes to the offensive zone, particularly generating anything on his own.

In a different world where Staal isn’t doing his thing and Carolina has a proper 2C, Kotkaniemi would be respected as a decent role player doing his thing. In reality he is viewed here in Raleigh as a disappointment and a redundancy.

Anyway, love to you suffering Sabres fans. May the great people of Buffalo collectively force Pegula to sell through sheer force of will and hatred. The black and red angry bison head jerseys are some of the best this league has ever seen.
