Moving Kulich back to the wing seems less than ideal.
I truly hate this move. He was very good at Center in those three games. I don't get moving Krebs up into the lineup when Kulich played great. Sit one of NAK or Lafferty and let Krebs be the 4C that can move up as needed to be a sparkplug.

If it were me...

Benson Thompson Tuch
Peterka Kulich Quinn
Zucker McLeod Cozens
Malenstyn Krebs NAK/Lafferty/Greenway when healthy

Byram Dahlin
Power Bryson
Gilbert Clifton
Joki

I really feel this would give us the best chance at winning every night right now. Kulich looked much better in the middle and it allowed his skating to shine more. This is really a strange move by Lindy and a bit frustrating to see Lafferty and NAK both in the lineup. My lines would give them great balance, allow Cozens to breath at 3RW with two responsible vets, provide Kulich two wingers with chemistry, have Benson be the top line spark plug/playmaker and see Krebs play where he's best suited.

I would like to see Kulich in the center.
Anything to keep Cozens in the middle so Adams can show he was right to give him that silly contract. It's staring them right in the face on what to do and they're trying to fit a square peg into a round hole again.

Looking like Quinn might be out? That is probably not a good idea now that he is finally looking like a hockey player.

Quinn, your suck has been noted.

It's weird, Quinn is just starting to get into shape, is it really that hard to sit Lafferty or NAK?

A couple things from those line rushes if they stay for tomorrow's game:

- Krebs up the lineup is both a reward for and the staff thinking part of Cozens being a little better was Cozens getting help from Krebs.
- Quinn being potentially rotated out shows they stratification between the top nine and the "4th" line. Ruff wants the 4th line to 4th line. Most of the guys in the top of the lineup don't do that sort of stuff...
- ...except working Rosen in on rushes there is odd, even if his game has come a long way in Rochester.
- Perhaps NAK is probably the next man out up front.

On defense:

- More OP-HJ makes me wince over a good cup of coffee.
- Bryson stays in... for now. But I wouldn't be shocked at all if he's out if he has another game where he's causing GA.

That's my take too.

Everyone needs to pump the breaks on Kulich as 2C against a team like the Wild. Even with their injuries this ain't the Sharks or Ducks.

I think it's half sitting Quinn, which may have been too past its moment, and half rewarding Krebs.

Very much rewarding Krebs factors into this. Him moving up seemed to help make Cozens better. They seemed to be splitting the d-zone coverage and Krebs has certainly been eager in putting in the effort to get back. The scoring was a nice outcome for Krebs too.

Yeah, it's a combo I'd like to see some more of. They both have a lot of dog.

That's the eye sore, and hopefully it will be addressed in the next few months. I honestly think the offense could be set if Kulich continues looking good, but that's a big if. There seems to be a lot of competition there right now.
