We basically have three puckmoving PPQB #1 dmen. So far, two of them work well as a pairing, which is good.
As soon as Byram needs a new contract, decisions about asset management and cap allocation are going to have to be made, however.
umm, not really, we have one PP QB, and two very good 5v5 scoring dmen right now. Accent that now with a solid #4 not named Joker please.

I'd love ROR back.

But if he was traded back here I imagine he'd crash into as many Tim Horton's locations as it would take to get his contract voided before he ever suited up for us again.
I want to see more of Kulich at C tbh, but I know there will be ups and downs so know where your coming from. ROR is never coming back to Buffalo.

Have we got any confirmation that Kulich is 100%? The way he went off the ice was concerning, and when he came back on ice, there seemed to be some hesitation. Has there been a practice report out since?

They practice today at 11.

They had a rare two days off since the last game. Originally there was a practice on the schedule for yesterday. With the team sweeping California and being exhausted, it was smart of Ruff to give them the additional day.

Maybe Sullivan will be gone soon, who knows. Nashville is just doing the wrong thing.

I like Whitecloud. I've also seen reports from Vegas fans that he might be expendable since he doesn't play in the top 4 when everyone is healthy, plus they have the cheaper Korczak. But I have no idea what Vegas will be looking for, maybe something around one of our forward prospects as a base.
a 2nd round pick should do it no? A 5-6 defenceman usually is the price.

Well, I don't know if Vegas wants to trade him now, I think he's a solid #5. We trade 2nd for a fourth-liner in the offseason, who knows what Vegas will ask for. We need to find a reason for Vegas to trade Whitecloud right now.

This is just one reason why I hate any Kreider or Trouba to Buffalo ideas. It opens the door to Rangers fans and their trade ideas.

Friends don't let friends talk about trading for a Rangers player on the internet.

There are health professionals who talk about how a good laugh every day is great for longevity.

I may live forever reading this.

I replied to this guy as well - I'm sure you can figure out which one I am.

To be honest I don't think Vegas sells anyone off and why would they when they are going for a Stanley Cup. I just see people talking about him.

Buffalo will probably be looking at fringe or out of the playoff teams to make a trade.

Vegas might sell him because of the cap space and if they think Korczak can easily replace him. While Whitecloud's AV isn't that big, it's still almost 3 million. I think I'd still kick the tires if I were Adams.

I don't see them selling because defensive depth is the most important asset in the playoffs. If I am a GM going into the playoffs I want at least 7-8 NHL level defenseman.

Not having enough defensive depth cost us the Stanley Cup imo.

Offer them Jokiharju with 50% retention their depth is fine again.
