Vilmer Alriksson is catching hire with his new team , make that another two points 1 goal and 1 assist and he maintains his point per game play

Is he going to keep it up once Martone and Rehkopf are back from WJ's is the question. Points might slow a bit.

He's going to get a chance to play and practice with two of the best players in the OHL this year still though.

Only question now is when is Romani going to be healthy , I thought he would be playing by now but that’s not the case so hopefully he will be back playing soon

People discussed him earlier this year after watching him play a few games. Lots of skills but lazy. Invisible until the puck finds him in a scoring area and he's on the scoresheet seems to be the unanimous report on him.
Patterson seems like the type of guy who will have a really good last junior season next season and the usual suspects will get all excited then he will turn pro and be hard pressed to score double digit goals in the AHL.

Seems like a good guy to sell at his peak. If that was the game plan all along, it’s a good one. Probably one of the best ways to get value from a late pick.

What did we give the sabers for Josh Bloom again?
As I recall, we traded another 'Riley' to acquire Bloom from the Sabres, as in depth d-man Riley Stilman.

Turned into a 'nothing trade' for both teams. Stilman is now in the Carolina organization playing for the AHL Chicago Wolves.....and of course Bloom is in the ECHL with Kalamazoo.

Sure Brz was having his super breakout season going from 57 to 92 points, Patterson has the exact same pace as last year.
I know. I was responding to your speculation that Patterson could explode in his OA year. That would be the time to pull the trigger on a trade.

My only point is that there's nothing wrong with drafting in bad faith (drafting a player knowing full well that he'll never make it as a pro) provided you can successfully execute a pump and dump.

I think that the Canucks were hoping for some growth this year but it hasn't really happened oh well.
