You got that right! For the record there is a real risk that Benson comes back to bite me in the ass...in a non-sexual way. He is a super smart player with a good motor. I just want more from his feet if I am taking him at 9.

Exactly. Drafting Danielson would be equal to arriving at a gun fight and shooting yourself in the foot before you get your gun out of the holster.

You don’t swing for Ty Dellandrea and Liam Foudy types that early . Nice depth pieces though.

Not my first choice at 9 but this is weak. Danielson is without a doubt a better prospect than either Dellandrea or Foudy in their draft year.

To me, he’s Joel Eriksson Ek. People see well rounded, middle 6 center. I see a guy who is a lock in center with more offense than people want to give credit for.
