My 10 year old nephew just called my mom to wish her and me and everyone a Merry Christmas because we won't be seeing them tonight. My mom started to cry. It's a very melancholy day. Even though we know what the true meaning of Christmas is. Not being with family today is very hard, even though we'll be seeing them and celebrating this Saturday.

If you're able to be with your family today, abd you're able to, give them big hugs and kisses. Enjoy the moments.

Just sat and watched Home Alone with the gal. SHE HAD NEVER SEEN IT. What a treat that was to watch with somebody who is experiencing it for the first time.

Then I just downed a gallon of Nyquil and can’t wait to enter la-la land. No worries fam, not a literal gallon. No measuring cup needed. The cap gets peeled and four heavy chugs later I’m feeling ripe

Somebody in this house ate a bunch of the Reese’s cups, so there was some improvisational baking today.

It was me. I am somebody.

Finished watching Midnight Mass. Honoring my late grandmother's tradition that I hold so dear in my heart. Pope Francis' homily really hit me deep.

Water and bread are outside for the blessing.

Door is chalked up.
