No reason to move Skjei right now unless the return is enough. Can move him easily at draft also. that being said, a 1st is fair for Skjei. Hopefully its a 1st +. Edmundson doesn't do anything for us. The only reason to take him would be for Carolina to buy some time on fitting Skjei in, and they should pay extra for that.

I agree with the Rangers being done and that may not be the worst thing. The last 2 or 3 deadlines were exciting but I think our moves will come in the summer and it may involve Lundqvist. This is just my opinion.

While I wouldn't give Skjei away for nothing I really wouldn't be upset if they just traded him for a first and another pick or something. I feel like the cap space saved there is possibly more valuable. Hate to be mean to the guy but he has certainly never taken that step forward here. Maybe he can do that elsewhere if he's sheltered and playing in a very structured system (I bet that's what Carolina is thinking)

AFAIC they invested into the servers, but they also entirely redid the site's make-up, turning into the data volume mess that is mobile compatible and what not.

I'm saying they send way more data to your device now, which chokes the shit out of the site.

There were some rumors that Minnesota might be interested in Gardiner. So that could definitely be locking up the market if they're hyper focused on that insane Parise thing.
