if Jays dont make it I simply dont watch. MLB is dead to me until next season
MLB playoffs is worth watching tbh every year we see a crazy series or game. I know 162 games can get weary and I realistically catch 2/3rds of them (when Jays are playing well) but the playoffs are always intense

the only time i made an effort to watch the world series was when the Cubs won a few years back after a 108 year drought

No offence to the long-suffering Mariners fans but if that sorry franchise makes the playoffs ahead of us I won't be happy

They had 4 of the very best players in their positions in 1997, didn’t win.

Had the best record of all time in 2001, all time player in Ichiro and didn’t win either.

And they lost all their other games 10-0 ;) Crazy that a team with those offensive and pitching/defensive stats is still in the picture.
Almost as crazy as that dream I had when the Royals BABIP'd their way to a WS victory in 2015.

A 4 way tie playoff seems like the "fairest" tie-breaker scenario. 2 teams playing off to play a 3rd team all with the same record isn't "fair" as far as I'm concerned.

I posted in August that the best September in Blue Jays' history would get the team a wildcard spot (and that I thought they had it in them). Well, they tied the 19 September wins of the 1987 team. 1 more win and they'd be in a wildcard position with 1 game to play.

How awesome is it that Matz, Manoah, Jansen, Espinal and Biggio have come up so big this weekend?
And the meat of the bullpen got a good days rest?

Sale vs Adon (major league debut)

Taillon vs. Wacha

Detmers vs. Anderson

Zimmerman vs. Ryu

Those first two matchups....f***
Hopefully Tampa lights up Taillon for us and pulls Wacha early. I think Wacha is just the opener and Cash isnt afraid to give his starters the hook the moment they look shaky. Tampa is and was always our best hope.
