Feel like Duke is playing harder than past playoffs, he’s not all bad out there. He’s made some nice plays in key moments as well

Picked it up second half of period. Allowing too many quality odd man rushes. Not many really good looks on offense.

Staal and Mahura with a few bad pinches was the story there. Like to see some more physicality but did go a bit with Tor generating no shots so that's a postive.

Had to know they were coming out desperate weathered the storm now need to get those pinches cleaned up and get on the forecheck.

Looked like he was hustling and batling this period. Id be ok with him if he played like that more often then not. Still a few mistakes but its hockey its a game of mistakes.

Good analysis on TNT of that goal. Staal didn’t cover for Mahura, instead played the body on Reilly

we gotta shoot on samsonov. Barkov and Mahura had great chances to put it on net and they forced a pass that got defended.

We played better but the leafs are trying to stretch us thin by having guys high in the neutral zone looking for odd man rushes. if we can defend those we’ll be able to counter attack effectively
