My problem is that no Vegas player really challenged Lowry on the ice after the hit. That's what you would expect. Instead they wait for a shift change and put out their designated fighter/goon to make Lowry pay. That staged retribution without emotion in the moment is just a coaching tactic. It's not a good look for Vegas to have all their players standing around and waiting for the coach to send Reaves out to settle scores.
I hated the hit that got Lowry a suspension, but didn’t have a problem with the one in the Vegas game. Tuch (?) put himself in a vulnerable position by ducking just when Lowry was about to hit. Lowry needs to be more careful when hitting shorter players but it didn’t look at all nefarious to me.
