Best coach I've ever seen. I learned so much watching this guy work...

He led the best Bruins teams I've seen in my lifetime. It's a black mark on the city and the fanbase that you weren't more appreciated during your time here.

Thanks for the memories and all the best going forward.

clode thanks, you won a cup in 2011, the last time the montreal canadiens won a cup was 1993. That makes me happy, just please do not become the next coach of the montreal canadiens. Keep Michel Therien in montreal and you will still be helping out the bruins.

How can anyone put into words how good he was for this franchise.

Remember Dave Lewis before Claude?

We were good for Claude, and Claude was great for us.

I was sad this morning when they fired you, I really wish they would have given you the rest of the season.

Thanks and may you never beat boston again.

Thanks for the memories Claude.

You were a hell of a coach but all good things must come to an end.

All the best, and it wasn't your fault the upper up's made terrible move after terrible move.

Thanks, Claude. You're a class act, a fantastic coach, and a great person.

Can't thank you enough for the 2011 Cup. One of, if not my favorite, sports memories. :yo::cry:

Thank you so much for with the help of others making the Bruins a contender every year again plus the ultimate prize once along with a runner - up. I will probably be making your next team my 2nd or 3rd favorite unless its you know who which I just cant do/

Greatest coach I've seen in almost 50 years of being a Bruins fan. (Minus 20 of absolutely refusing to watch the garbage way they ran this franchise)

As my late great father said when they fired Don Cherry, "Sinden wants a gate opener behind the bench." Well, here we go again.

Best of luck Claude, you were the best we've ever had here in Boston and you handled the good, great and bad with class and dignity. The league is wide open for you.

Thank you, Claude Julien, for all you did for the Bruins. Coaching us to a Championship in 2011 and bringing a Cup to Boston in my adult lifetime is something I will always be grateful to you for.

You were a great coach for us and it is very, very regrettable that you are being dismissed under such circumstances. There are others that are much more responsible for the current state of the Bruins than yourself.

Godspeed and best wishes from those many of us Bruins fans who really appreciated all you did for the team during your time here.

Thank you, Claude. At least I got to see this sorry organization have one great moment in the spotlight.

Thanks for some of the best memories of my life.

Yes, best Coach in my time as a Bruins fan. And apparently very likable as well. Good Luck to you, Coach Julien.

I never liked claude for a single day he was here... he wasn't my choice for coach... I even suggested we trade him a couple times...

but he was a winner... he remained a winner to the last day... its obvious his players played for him... he will go on to win somewhere else

perhaps in time some of these idiots here who criticize him will learn how foolish they were not to appreciate the success he gave us

my reason for not liking him was pointless... he was from montreal... he didn't look like my idea for a coach... he wasn't from the system...

but claude is a winner... one of the 3 best coaches of our generation... and he let us win... thanks claude

Been on this site for over 11 years but rarely post. I became a fan in 72-73..the year after their last cup before 2011. I honestly never thought I'd live to see them win one in my lifetime. In '11 I watched with them win with my only son. Truly one of the best moments of my life. I can never thank CJ enough for helping that happen.
