I'll believe it when I see it. Different "insiders" have been saying this for months.

Outside of small corners of Twitter, most people have forgotten about this. Sponsors have all come back to Hockey Canada. In Ottawa, the announcement of being the host of the 2025 WJC was met with excitement and no mention of scandal.

My bet is the LPD put out a statement that they won't pursue charges and it goes quietly away. NHL will follow-suit in late July when no one is really paying attention.

I'll save you the trouble of reading the article when it comes out.

"The league has reviewed the findings and, in light of the severity of what has been alleged, are levying a penalty they find equally harsh. The players involved will be suspended for all remaining off-season games and will forfeit any game checks they would have received over that period. The players involved will not be named at this time (or ever)."

They can’t be both suspended and not named.

Feel like there should be a bigger punishment than just a suspension for what occurred.
Suspension could be any length, a full season would be a rather sufficient punishment depending on individual levels of participation. I hope they don't spare any details about who the most heinous offenders were.

Could also be an "indefinite" suspension.

Kind of like how Mailloux and Miller are simply ineligible to play in the NHL without direct approval from Bettman.

So it’s like 4 possible players if I remember correctly that didn’t come out with statements.

I’m presuming those the ones
What’s that prospect from ottawa?
